The applicant must be the Host Company, not the individual undertaking the placement. * Required
To note: If successful, funding is provided as a grant to the Host Company (applicant) who will employ the practitioner under a formal employment agreement for the employment term.

Eligibility

 

The applicant/host company must:

  1. Meet general eligibility in the Screenwest Terms of Trade.
  2. Be a Western Australian Resident Company, as defined in the Screenwest Terms of Trade.
  3. Demonstrate both ability and future commitment to the Western Australian screen industry through relevant experience, achievements, future career strategy and ongoing business plans.
  4. Have at least one credit as a Producer on a commercially released feature film, series or equivalent in the last three years and have commercial scripted projects in active development with market partners.

 

The practitioner being employed must:

  1. Meet general eligibility in the Screenwest Terms of Trade.
  2. Be a Western Australian Resident, as defined in the Screenwest Terms of Trade.
  3. Demonstrate both their capability and commitment to the Western Australia screen industry through relevant experience, key achievements, future career strategy and ongoing business development plans.
  4. Be a mid-career Western Australian resident producer who has:
    • Received State or Federal screen agency funding in the last three years (or equivalent).
    • Produced at least one non-tertiary short film, web-series, or similar content within the last three years (or has significant production/and or industry experience).
